Eagle Capital Farms (an agribusiness joint venture partnership) seeks to specialize in the development of modern sustainable agriculture and agro-industrial projects in Burundi. Through technical competencies provided by its investor partners, Eagle Capital Farms is managing a seven (7) hectares model farm, in Buringa, Bujumbura Marie, that will showcase the best practices for crop husbandry, animal husbandry and aquaculture in Burundi.

Further, Eagle Capital Farms is building synergies with the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Livestock of Burundi to establish large scale concessional commercial farms in Burundi that will manage diverse farming and livestock projects positively impacting the lives of local communities and enhancing its participation and contribution to Burundi’s development.

Our vision is to be Burundi’s leader in the conception and implementation of agricultural projects, with a focus on the establishment of agricultural farms; farm management and operation; value-addition and sales and marketing of agricultural products.

Core Services

Agriculture guidance and training – In close collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Livestock of Burundi, creating training concepts and conducting professional training seminars (agronomy and livestock) for local farmers at our seven (7) hectares model farm in Buringa, Bujumbura Marie.

Agricultural products marketing – Eagle Capital Farms uses its vast knowhow to produce and sell to the local and international markets.

Agriculture research and development (R&D) – Through synergies established with world leading agronomists and our investor partner’s in-house technology and know-how; Eagle Capital Farms seeks to create innovative agro-farming and livestock research stations to underpin its operations in Burundi.
